Sharjah warns motorists with over 6-month impounded vehicle of collection deadline

Motorists in Sharjah have been alerted of a deadline to take their impounded properties from the municipality.

In a notice on Monday, January 26, the authority called on owners of impounded vehicles, machinery, motorcycles and bicycles which have been with the Sharjah City Municipality for more than six months.

Owners who have not taken the necessary procedures to release them, have been requested to approach the Inspection and Control Department, Industrial Area 5, within four days from the date of publishing this notice (January 29) to rectify the reasons for impoundment and receive the impounded properties.

The municipality warned it would otherwise have to sell the properties by public auction after the four-day period on January 29.
