Sharjah Ruler approves Dh100-million compensation for owners of old homes in Al Madam

He had previously approved a sum of Dh250,000 for each of the 200 owners whose old homes were replaced

Sharjah Ruler approved, on Monday, Dh100 million to compensate owners of old homes in the Al Madam area who had previously been compensated with new homes.

Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, had previously approved a sum of Dh250,000 for each of the 200 owners whose old homes were replaced.

With the additional approved amount, the total compensation for each family will rise to Dh750,000.
