Shaikh Khalifa amends Etihad Airways establishment law

Abu Dhabi - Under the law, the Board of Directors of Etihad Aviation Group shall also serve as the Board of Directors of the Etihad Airways Company.

President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan has issued, in his capacity as Ruler of Abu Dhabi, a law amending provisions of the Law No. 1 for 2003 pertaining to the establishment of Etihad Airways Company. 
Under the law, the Board of Directors of Etihad Aviation Group shall also serve as the Board of Directors of the Etihad Airways Company. 
Following the new law, His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces and Chairman of Abu Dhabi Executive Council, issued a resolution reconstituting the Board of Directors of Etihad Aviation Group, under the chairmanship of Mohamed Mubarak bin Fadhil Al Mazrouei. 
The resolution also names Ahmed Ali Mohamed Al Sayegh, Khalifa Sultan Ahmed Al suwaidi, Hamad Abdullah Rashid Al Shamsi, Mohamed Khalifa Ahmed Al Mubarak, Mohamed Hareb Sultan Al Yousif and Ahmed Ali Matar Al Romaithi as members of the board.
