Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has honoured two employees for contributing innovative ideas through the Mohammed bin Rashid Smart Majlis.
The smart majlis, which is considered the largest integrated smart platform in Dubai comprising 30 government departments, aims at sourcing innovative ideas and feedbacks from the public 24/7 in brainstorming sessions.
RTA employees Mariam Al Kutbi and Milad Jad Faraj Allah were honoured by Mattar Al Tayer, Director-General and Chairman of the Board of Executive Directors of the RTA.
Al Tayer expressed appreciation to all the employees who took the time out to offer their suggestions via the smart majlis. He stressed that all the ideas will be assessed for feasibility.
"From the launch of the smart majlis ... the RTA has received 1,436 innovative ideas/feedbacks, including 1,207 innovative ideas and 229 feedbacks. The RTA's team has studied ... 1,335 cases," said Al Tayer.
