Resentful MoE officials quit

DUBAI - Several directors of the Central Department in the Ministry of Education (MoE) submitted their resignations yesterday, resenting the fact that the MoE recently chose to advertise departmental vacancies against the same posts that they were occupying.

Anyone who is eligible, according to MoE sources, can apply for these posts. However, the ministry has clarified categorically that those occupying these posts can also apply as the authorities now need to make a fresh assessment of its senior staff.
