'Fake news': Dubai clarifies reports of Iranian strike on Oracle data centre are false

Dubai has denied claims of an Iranian strike on the Oracle Data Centre in the emirate.
After posts on X about the alleged strike citing Iran's Revolutionary Guards, Dubai Media Office posted a clarification, calling out different handles for posting fake news.
The media office has repeatedly urged residents to obtain news directly from the source, and avoid sharing or circulating unverified claims.

From false information of Dubai's real estate market collapsing completely, to digitally altered videos of chaos at DXB, the regional conflict has come with its own wave of misinformation.
Dubai Media Office has found that these fake claims on social media are often started by users from different continents, tens of thousands of kilometres away from UAE.
