The Ras Al Khaimah Police are to have three environment-friendly buildings, including a customer happiness centre, for Dh39,365,000.
The new premises will help ease and expedite procedures, said Major-General Ali Abdullah bin Alwan Al Nuaimi, General Commander of the RAK Police.
"The new buildings include a police station at Al Dheit area, a customer happiness centre at the RAK police headquarters, and a building for K9 security inspection section."
The three buildings are to be completed this year, he pointed out. "They will be an added value to the RAK Police buildings."
Brigadier Jamal Ahmad Al Tair, Director-General of the Public Resources Authority, RAK Police, said the new happiness centre will provide all customers with the services they need at the police headquarters entrance.
"This will save their time and effort, and help deliver high quality services."
The new building of the K9 security inspection section is to be built following the latest standards, he added.
"As per schedule, the environment-friendly building is to be completed in the beginning of April this year."
"The green building is to reduce water and electricity consumption."
