The crescent for the holy month of Ramadan was sighted in Saudi Arabia on Thursday.

Accordingly, Friday, April 24, will be the first day of Ramadan 2020.

The crescent was seen by the Hawtah Observatory, Sudair, in Saudi Arabia, Arabic daily Al Riyadh announced.

Earlier, the crescent was spotted in UAE as well, from Jebel Jais.
