RAK Indian School teachers feted

RAS AL KHAIMAH - The Managing Committee of the Ras Al Khaimah Indian High School has honoured 20 teaching and six non-teaching staff who had already completed 10 years service with the school.

They were awarded with mementos and certificates as a token for their sincerity and integrity towards education.

"It is token gift of recognition for our teaching staff to receive the awards on ‘teacher's day'. This will give more inspiration and enthusiasm to our staff so that we hope this encourage will lead to get better results" said Dr Shahrban, Principal of the school. The award ceremony was organised by the 10th, 11th and 12th standards students of the school, which was held yesterday at the Ras Al Khaimah Indian Association hall in Mamoura.


Noor Mohammed Khan, Chairman of the Indian School, congratulated the teachers and urged them to work hard for the betterment of the school. Malligarjunan, Thomson, Dr. Baby Mathew, Dr. Ram and many other prominent members of the Indian community attended the award giving ceremony.
