UAE Rulers pardon over 3,000 prisoners across emirates ahead of Eid Al Adha
The prisoners, who have been found eligible and have displayed good conduct, will be released from the penal and correctional institution in the emirate

Over the last few days, UAE Rulers have pardoned hundreds of prisoners each, ahead of Eid Al Adha.
First, the UAE President ordered the release of 963 inmates from penal and correctional facilities who had been sentenced in various cases.

President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan pledged to pay the financial obligations incurred in implementing these sentences, ahead of Eid Al Adha.

In a similar gesture, Dubai Ruler Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid also ordered the release of 985 prisoners of different nationalities from the emirate's correctional and punitive establishments. The prisoners, who have been found eligible and have displayed good conduct, will be released from the penal and correctional institution in the emirate.
Meanwhile, the Sharjah Ruler made a similar announcement in which he ordered the release of 439 prisoners. Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, on Tuesday ordered the release of 411 prisoners in the emirate ahead of Eid Al Adha.
In an Instagram post, Fujairah's media office also announced that 112 prisoners in Fujairah will be released, on the directive of Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Fujairah.
To give inmates in Ajman an opportunity for a new life, the Ajman Ruler ordered the release of 225 prisoners who demonstrated good conduct during their sentences.
The Umm Al Quwain Ruler also ordered the release of a number of inmates on the occasion of Eid.
