“With God’s grace, the UAE is fully prepared to confront these threats,” he said.
The President also expressed appreciation for the country’s armed forces, security services and national institutions working to safeguard the nation.
“They represent the highest standards of readiness and cooperation. We are truly proud of them,” he said.
He paid tribute to those affected by the recent attacks.
“May God have mercy on the victims and grant the injured a speedy recovery. With God’s blessing, the UAE — the land of Zayed — will remain strong in its unity, steadfast in defending its sovereignty, and steadily advancing towards the future,” he said.
The message comes after recent Iranian attacks on the UAE left three people dead and 112 injured. Authorities said 221 ballistic missiles were detected, with 205 destroyed, while 14 fell into the sea and two landed within UAE territory. A total of 1,305 UAVs were also detected, with 1,229 intercepted and 76 falling within the UAE. Eight cruise missiles were also detected and destroyed.
Earlier, Sheikh Mohamed visited several of those injured in hospital, where he met them and their families and wished them a speedy recovery. During the visit, he was seen holding the hands of the injured and gently touching their heads while speaking with them and their relatives.
