UAE President offers condolences to Indian PM Modi over Pahalgam attack

President Sheikh Mohamed on Saturday held a phone call with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi during which they discussed the strategic relations between the two countries and ways to enhance them.

During the call, the President offered condolences to the Indian Prime Minister over the victims of the attack that took place a few days ago in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, and wished a speedy recovery to the injured.

Sheikh Mohamed also affirmed the UAE's rejection of terrorism, considering it a threat to security and stability within societies and to international peace and security.

For his part, Narendra Modi expressed his thanks to the UAE President for his condolences, wishing the UAE continued progress and prosperity.
