PHOTOS: Shaikh Mohammed's son Zayed begins school life
Special year for the Ruler and Princess Haya as youngest child joins sister Al Jalila in school.

With schools re-opening across the UAE earlier in August, it was time for children in the UAE to hit the books again and go back to school - including kids belonging to UAE's royal families.
Earlier in August, His Highness Shaikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai Crown Prince had posted a picture - on Instagram - of his young niece returning to school after the summer break.

But this new academic year was special in the Maktoum house, as His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President and Prime Minister and Dubai Ruler's youngest child, Zayed started school this year.
Her Highness Princess Haya bint Al Hussein, wife of the Ruler, took to Instagram to make the special announcement, as well as inviting other parents around the world to share stories about their child's #firstschoolday. Here's a picture of the proud mother with her children as they prepare for the new school year:

His Highness Shaikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai Crown Prince, took to Instagram earlier this week to post a picture of his niece, Sheema, looking smart in her school uniform on the first day of school:
