Pakistanis in UAE, GCC asked to exercise utmost caution amid US-Iran war
Pakistani missions in UAE and Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries share hotline numbers to assist their nationlals during these challenging times

Pakistanis in the UAE and other GCC countries are advised to exercise utmost caution due to the ongoing military conflict in the region.

Pakistani missions in the UAE on Sunday issued an advisory, asking them to source information from official and verified sources.
The UAE missions also asked their countrymen to check flight status before leaving for the airport.

“The Pakistani community based in the UAE is informed that, in the wake of the ongoing situation, flight operations from the UAE have not been restored so far. Therefore, it is advised to rely only on official and verified sources of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Abu Dhabi, or Consulate General, Dubai,” the missions said in a statement on Sunday.
There are over 1.7 million Pakistani nationals living in different emirates across the UAE.
The missions also shared hotline numbers to assist their countrymen in these tough times.
The US and Israel launched attacks against Iran on Saturday, killings its top leadership. Iran attacked the Gulf countries.

Moreover, Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) has activated its Crisis Management Unit (CMU) to closely monitor developments and extend all necessary assistance to Pakistani diaspora in the Gulf countries.
The Crisis Management Unit is operational 24/7.
“All Pakistani nationals residing in the Gulf region are strongly advised to exercise utmost caution, remain indoors where possible, avoid unnecessary travel, and strictly adhere to the instructions and advisories issued by the respective host governments,” the Foreign Office spokesperson said on Sunday.
