Pakistan Embassy in Abu Dhabi closed on occassion of Eid Al Fitr

The embassy confirmed that it will resume normal operations on Tuesday, March 24, 2026

The Pakistani Embassy in Abu Dhabi has announced that it will be closed on the occasion of Eid Al Fitr.

According to the embassy, operations will be suspended from Thursday, March 19, to Monday, March 23, 2026, to mark the holiday.

The closure will also coincide with Pakistan Day, which falls on March 23.

Eid Al Fitr is expected to fall on Thursday, March 19, or Friday, March 20, 2026, in the UAE depending on the sighting of the crescent moon, which marks the beginning of months in the Islamic lunar calendar.

The UAE Federal Authority for Government Human Resources and the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation have announced the official holiday dates for both federal and private sector employees.

For federal government employees, the Eid Al Fitr holiday will start on Thursday, March 19, 2026, and continue through Sunday, March 22, 2026, with work resuming on Monday, March 23, 2026.

In the private sector, the holiday will run from Thursday, March 19, to Saturday, March 21, 2026. Employees who normally work on Sundays are expected to return to work on Sunday, March 22, 2026.
