Pakistan consulate offers Nadra service in RAK to issue, renew national IDs on Feb 15

Pakistanis residing in the other emirates in the UAE can also benefit from this special facility by visiting the Pakistan Centre, Ras Al Khaimah

Pakistanis in the UAE will be able to renew their national identity cards and take advantage of other Nadra services in Ras Al Khaimah today (February 15).

According to the Consulate General of Pakistan, Dubai, the Nadra Mobile Registration Team will visit Ras Al Khaimah with its officials to issue new identity cards, provide modifications, renewals, and other relevant services to the community in the northern emirate.

Pakistanis residing in the other emirates in the UAE can also benefit from this special facility by visiting the Pakistan Centre, Ras Al Khaimah, from 8am to 4pm.

The UAE remains a key destination for Pakistani expatriates and is home to over 1.7 million Pakistanis, second only to Saudi Arabia. In total, more than 5.5 million Pakistanis live and work across the Gulf region, while approximately 10.3 million are employed globally.

More than 64,000 Pakistanis made the UAE their second home during 2024 alone.

Last month, the two countries agreed to sign a “pre-immigration clearance” agreement for Pakistani nationals travelling to the UAE.

The Pakistani diaspora is also a major contributor to its country’s economy, remitting $3.5 billion in January 2026. The UAE was placed fourth with $694 million, led by Dubai ($544.75 million), Abu Dhabi ($126.11 million), Sharjah ($9.81 million) and other emirates ($13.49 million).
