The Dubai Police have launched a new unique service on its website.
The Department of Smart Services of the Dubai Police's new service package includes three important services: minor accidents reporting - enabling the public to download and report images of damaged vehicles in accidents, or by sending SMSes; the "police eye" that allows the public to participate in maintaining security and reporting any suspicious activities; while the third allows purchase of the Dubai Police products online.
Brigadier General Khalid Nasser Al Razzouqi, director general of Smart Services at Dubai Police, said that adding these services to the force's website makes it easier for the public to complete their transactions without having to visit police stations in person.
Al-Razzouqi added that the services have been in great demand by the public, and their addition to the smart applications reduces time and effort in the event of minor accidents, which don't really required police patrols at the site.
The second service will allow members of society to contribute towards public security and crime fighting, reporting illegal activities or abuses. The purchase of products service was made available to facilitate the demand for handmade products and crafts manufactured by the inmates of the Dubai Police's penal institutions.
Brig Gen Al-Razzouqi called on the public to take advantage of these services, that save their time and effort as these can be used more easily than before, and to keep abreast of developments in the emirate, which leads in providing unique services to make the public happy.
These initiatives are a direct follow-up of the Dubai Police High Command, and as part of the ongoing efforts of the Smart Services Department and in collaboration with the major public departments of Dubai Police, to upgrade available services and transfer all services onto the Dubai Police Smart Application and website.
