Now free data for every call with Etisalat

Abu Dhabi - The new offer gives customers 1 MB of free data for every minute of outgoing local or international voice calls made under the service.

Etisalat on Saturday announced a new promotion, providing its Wasel prepaid customers 1 MB free data for every minute of their mobile voice call.
Addressing the growing demand for data among all segments in the UAE, the new offer gives customers 1 MB of free data for every minute of outgoing local or international voice calls made under the service. The accumulated free data can be used to access the Internet normally as required, be it for browsing the Web, accessing emails, downloading files or using any social networking sites.  
Khaled ElKhouly, Chief Consumer Officer at Etisalat, said, "Innovation to Etisalat means not only the deployment of world-class advanced technologies, but also enabling our customers to enjoy the benefits of our nation-wide network, seamless connectivity and fast speeds.
"Data usage and Internet access have become an integral part of our lives, a need that will be well addressed by this new offering for our Wasel prepaid mobile customers. In addition to broadening the choice of data packs and plans to suit light or heavy data users, the new offer is also an effortless process. A simple routine activity of making outgoing calls will automatically generate free data that our customers can conveniently enjoy later," he explained.
Customers can subscribe to the promotion by dialling *140*5*1# to start accumulating data for every minute of their outgoing calls. Free data accumulates over 14 days for customers to use over the following 14 days. Calls made during such time will continue to automatically generate free data to be used thereafter. Customers can also monitor their free data accumulation by dialling *140*5*3# or their data usage by dialling *170*1#.
Wasel prepaid customers subscribed to any of Etisalat's data plan or service can enjoy Etisalat's fastest 4G LTE network, which covers nearly 95 per cent of the country's populated area and will allow 4G LTE enabled smartphone users to connect to the UAE's fastest 4G Internet at speeds of up to 300 Mbps.
