According to a system unveiled by emirate's police, eligible people will now be able to apply for a driving licence at their residence, at just Dh105 extra.
Lt-Col Mohammed Khalifa bin Antar, acting director of the licence department, UAQ Police, said applicants will be able to open their files for driving licences, and also undergo the mandatory eyesight examination, in the comfort of their homes.
