New wing for diplomatic affairs at the Dubai Police

The Dubai Police have established a diplomatic affairs section at the general department of criminal investigation aimed at coordinating with embassies, consulates and liaison officers to implement the best standards in dealing with diplomatic bodies. 
Major General Khalil Ibrahim Al Mansouri, assistant commander-in-chief of criminal investigation department at the Dubai Police said that the aim of the section is to coordinate with consulates and liaison officers, especially in the field of international criminal cooperation. 
Lt. Col. Tariq Hilal Al Suwaidi, head of diplomatic affairs section, said that the section represents a link between Dubai Police, embassies, consulates and liaison officers in spreading a security culture and bringing happiness to people.
