NCM issues weather warning for UAE residents

The National Centre of Meteorology, NCM, has warned sea-goers of rough seas in the Arabian Gulf as a result of continued fresh to strong winds, reaching 45 km/h.

In a statement, the Centre said that the wave heights are expected to be between 5 to 7 feet until 10 pm Wednesday.
Sharing today's forecast, the NCM said the weather in the UAE today is expected to be partly cloudy to cloudy in general with a gradual decreases in temperatures.
There is a probability of convective clouds formation towards the eastern and southern area by afternoon, the NCM said.

Light to moderate winds, freshening at times will be causing the blowing of dust during daytime over some exposed areas.
The highest temperature today will hover between 36 to 39°C over the coastal areas and 39 to 44°C over the internal areas. The relative humidity will increase by night and during the early morning hours.
The sea will be slight to rough in the Arabian Gulf and moderate to rough in the Gulf of Oman.
The NCM, has also released a weather forecast report for the coming days:
Thursday:

Partly cloudy in general and cloudy at times over some eastern and southern areas, with the probability of convective clouds formation associated with rainfall by afternoon.

Wind: Moderate to fresh easterly to southeasterly, causing blowing dust and sands with a speed of 22 - 35, reaching 40 km/hr.

Sea: Moderate in the Arabian Gulf and in Oman Sea.

Friday:

Partly cloudy in general and cloudy at times over some eastern and southern areas, with the probability of convective clouds formation associated with rainfall by afternoon.

Wind: Moderate easterly to southeasterly, becoming northeasterly, freshening at times, with a speed of 18 - 30, reaching 40 km/hr.

Sea: Slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and in Oman Sea.

Saturday:

Partly cloudy in general especially over eastern and southern areas.

Wind: Light to moderate southeasterly becoming northwesterly by afternoon, freshening at times, with a speed of 15 - 25, reaching 35 km/hr.

Sea: Slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and in Oman Sea.
