Look: Sheikh Hamdan joins funeral prayer for Sheikh Mohammed bin Obaid Al Maktoum

Dubai Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum joined scorers of people in performing the funeral prayer for the late Sheikh Mohammed bin Obaid Al Maktoum on Tuesday.

The prayers, which was held at the Grand Zabeel Mosque in Dubai, was also attended by Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, First Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance; Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai; and Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the National Olympic Committee.

In photos shared by the Dubai Media Office, Sheikh Hamdan, who is also Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence and Chairman of the Executive Council of Dubai, is seen among people in the front row of the standing prayer.

Sheikh Hamdan was seen helping to carry the body of Sheikh Mohammed bin Obaid Al Maktoum after the funeral prayer.

The mourners prayed to Allah to grant him His vast mercy and admit him into His spacious gardens of Paradise.
