A recipient of several accolades for his professional excellence, Bhatia also served as president of The Electronics Group, Dubai, a trade body that represents the interests of the industry. His three decades of service in the electronics distribution and retail market was recognised when he was named the Indian CEO of the Year 2012 (Electronics).
Bhatia, who began his career with the Al Futtaim Group in 1978 in Dubai, was named among the top 50 Indian executives in the Arab world by Forbes in 2016 and 2017.
