Ivanka Trump, adviser to the President of the US, is set to deliver a keynote address during the official opening of Global Women's Forum Dubai (GWFD) next week.
Trump is set to bring her expertise on women empowerment to the event, which is set to be held on February 16 to 17.
In her role as adviser to the US President, Trump focuses on the education and economic empowerment of women and their families, as well as job creation and economic growth through workforce development, skills training and entrepreneurship.
Mona Al Marri, chairperson of the board and managing director of Dubai Women Establishment (DWE), described Trump as a "champion of female entrepreneuship" who can inspire women in the region.
As a strong advocate for women's empowerment, she has established effective partnerships and led a variety of initiatives that have furthered the positive impact of women across the world.
"She will bring valuable insights into boosting support to women-owned enterprises and propelling female entrepreneurs across the region," Al Marri said.
Trump will join other high-profile international speakers, including David Malpass, president of the World Bank Group, and Kristalina Georgieva, managing director of the IMF, in this year's Global Women's Forum.
Organised by the DWE, GWFD 2020 is a leading global platform that actively engages leaders and experts from around the world in constructive dialogue to discuss policies, foster goal-driven partnerships, and shape sustainable communities.
