'It took only two minutes to cast my vote'

Ajman/Ras Al Khaimah - Voters say FNC voting procedures are crystal clear.

Emiratis from Ajman and Ras Al Khaimah praised the easy and friendly voting procedures that took them just two to five minutes to complete.
Musabih Khalfan Mattar Al Kaabi, 38-year-old voter based in Ajman, told Khaleej Times that he was keen to come early in the morning at the polling station at the social service department in Al Jurf area to cast his vote.
"This is not the first time to do so as I am always engaged in FNC elections to pick up the right person who can voice our concerns and speak for us in the council."
Al Kaabi believed that Hamad bin Ghalita is the right person to do the job. "He is of a high-calibre who can take timely decisions, and hence be an asset to decision makers here." The FNC elections is something for all Emiratis to be proud of, he added. "The elections will pave the way to solutions to sort out urgent issues in the country, and boost development."
Reiterating the same, 31-year-old Saeed Saif, an Ajman-based voter said Hamad bin Ghalita is the right candidate to represent him in the FNC. "This man is known for his tireless efforts and unlimited services."
Fifty-year-old Juma bin Saif from Ajman, said the voting procedures are crystal clear. "It took me only two minutes to vote for my favourite FNC candidate Hamad bin Ghalita who is the right man for the job."
An FNC hopeful needs to focus on special needs and elderly people, he underlined. "He has to pay attention to low-income people, humanitarian cases, and all in need for help." Thirty-year-old Badr Yagut, another voter from Ajman, said his favourite candidate must be cooperative. "His house or office should be open to all voters to speak for them in the council, solve their problems, and take an effective part in the ongoing sustainable development."
Ensuring medical coverage for all Emiratis, providing better and affordable health services, thoroughly developing education are on top of the right FNC candidate, Yagut elaborated.
"The issues of housing, special and humanitarian cases, such as divorcees and spinsters, let alone unemployed youth, retirees and elderly people are critical, as well."
Saeed Eissa, a retired aviation engineer based in Ajman, said voting was hassle-free. "It took me only five minutes to finish the job in a friendly and convenient atmosphere."
FNC hopeful, Mohammed Eissa Abu Shehab, was the favourite candidate for Eissa. "He is not only my brother, but a competent personality of a family known for prominent politicians and diplomats."
Rashid Saeed a 35-year-old voter based in Ras Al Khaimah, said he was confused when choosing his FNC candidate. "All of them are highly qualified and up to challenge."
Salem Juma, a 63-year-old voter from Ras Al Khaimah, said he went to the polling station early in the morning even before they opened doors. "It is my duty to do so, and hence I accompanied my three sons and two daughters to cast our votes."
