Swift action is needed to prevent the situation from spiralling into dangerous and unpredictable consequences, foreign minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan said

The UAE has warned that the escalating conflict between Iran and Israel risks crossing dangerous lines, with Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan cautioning against “uncalculated, reckless steps” that could violate the borders of both countries.
The UAE, which condemned the initial Israeli strike on Iran, is calling for urgent regional and international action to prevent further escalation. Sheikh Abdullah emphasised the need for diplomacy and dialogue, urging the United Nations and the Security Council to fulfill their responsibilities by securing an immediate ceasefire.

Sheikh Abdullah said that President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has engaged in intensive diplomatic outreach aimed at fostering dialogue and preventing the conflict from escalating further.
“The region cannot withstand further confrontation,” the foreign minister said. “Wisdom, restraint, and adherence to international law are essential to avoid a wider crisis,” he added.
