Indian man found dead in Sharjah apartment

Sharjah - The police have lifted the physical evidences and finger prints from the crime scene and have launched an intensified interrogation.

The police are investigating the death of a 59-year-old Indian whose body was found hanging from the ceiling of his apartment in Industrial Area No 1.
On receiving a call about a man found hanging, the police team comprising crime scene officers, patrols, CID and ambulance rushed to the spot and shifted the body to the forensic laboratory for autopsy.
It was found that the man had been dead for several hours. The police have lifted the physical evidences and finger prints from the crime scene and have launched an intensified interrogation.
Police said initial investigation showed that the man had committed suicide, but it cannot be concluded, they added.
