Hag Al Laila in Dubai: Food markets, kids games in Expo City; tickets, timings revealed

For those looking to celebrate UAE's Hag Al Laila festival, which falls 15 days before Ramadan, Expo City has celebrations planned to make the day special for the community.

The festivities, organised as part of the Season of Wulfa, will commence from 4pm until 10pm on Saturday, January 31.

Harvest Festival — Hag Al Laila Edition will offer a rich programme of hands-on activities, traditional games, local flavours and lively entertainment. Highlights include a festive camel parade, henna art, interactive Hag Al Laila workshops, and the distribution of candy bags for children.

There will also be a range of community-focused programmes, including traditional performances by Dubai school students and kiosks operated by home-based entrepreneurs showcasing and selling their products during the one-day festival.

Children will also get the chance to take part in the much-loved Rashid and Latifa Duathlon races. Designed for participants aged 2 to 13, the duathlon invites young racers to run and bike in a fun, high-energy atmosphere, with exciting prizes awaiting the winners. Participants are encouraged to bring their own bikes and helmets to be able to participate.

Tickets are priced at Dh50, with free entry for children under three, People of determination with one care giver and for all Al Wasl Season Pass holders.
