Dubai Electricity & Water Authority (DEWA) and Knowledge & Human Development Authority (KHDA) today honoured the winners of its ‘Conservation Award – For A Better Tomorrow 2011-2012’, given to educational institutions and teaching establishments in Dubai for best practices in electricity and water consumption.

Clean, bright flags flying high are the aim of a new campaign recently launched by the Municipality of Abu Dhabi. Appealing to residents’ sense of respect and national pride, the municipality has called for a citywide effort to replace damaged UAE flags and to hoist them at respectable heights.
