Fujairah to hire special needs people

His Highness Shaikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Member of Supreme Council and Ruler of Fujairah, has ordered hiring of 21 special needs persons in government and private sectors.
In his directives, Shaikh Hamad said the differently-abled were to be employed at an establishment near their residence, and endorsed the need to integrate them into the society.
He lauded the efforts of Shaikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, especially the ministry's centre for rehabilitation and employment of the differently abled.
He also appreciated the task force led by Lieutenant Colonel Dr. Khalid Al Amiri for coordinating with all the entities in the country and reiterating the rights of the special needs people in workplaces, as many of them had proved competent, especially in the field of sports.

Meanwhile, Mohammed Khalifa Al Zioudi, Director of the Human Resources Department in Fujairah thanked the Department of Centres for Rehabilitation and Employment of Disabled at the Ministry of Interior, and appreciated Shaikh Hamad's kind gesture which aims at Emiratisation of jobs for the special needs.
