Shaikh Hamad recently instructed the government departments of Fujairah to implement the decision.

The decision was the result of Shaikh Hamad’s keenness to raise the standard of living of the government employees, both national and expatriate staff.

This is also in line with a similar decision of the Federal Government.

Mohammed Saeed Al Zaioudi, Director of the Human Resources Department of Fujairah, said about 12,000 employees would benefit from the increase in basic salaries.
