The Federal Tax Authority has announced amendments to fees on services provided by the body.

The change, effective from January 1, 2026, will see the introduction of two new fees. They are: 'Application for entering into a Unilateral Advance Pricing Agreement for the first time' and 'Application for renewal or amendment of a Unilateral Advance Pricing Agreement'.

On the other hand, the body has said that it will now be issuing new or replacement certified Tax Registration Certificates, and certified Warehouse Keeper Registration Certificates for free.

Instead, the authority will issue free electronic registration certificates for all registrants. These certificates will include a QR code enabling verification of registration status electronically. This eliminates the need for paper certificates and further enhances ease of access to services.
