Four expats from Bangladesh, India win Dh600,000 in Abu Dhabi Big Ticket draw

This week’s draw followed a special format, as the winners were unable to join the Big Ticket team in the studio and the game segment could not take place

Four expats from Bangladesh and India have taken home a combined cash prize of Dh600,000 as part of the Big Win contest by Big Ticket.
The winners are invited to the Big Ticket studio in Abu Dhabi to participate in a game for a chance to win cash prizes ranging from Dh50,000 to Dh150,000.
This week’s draw followed a special format, as the winners were unable to join the Big Ticket team in the studio and the game segment could not take place. To ensure the winners still received the full experience, Big Ticket awarded each of them the top prize from the game segment — Dh150,000.

Vallabh Bogha Parmar
Vallabh Bogha, a 53-year-old business owner from Gujarat, is currently based in Oman and has been living in the GCC with his family for the past 35 years. This was his first time participating in the Big Ticket raffle.
Sharing his experience, Vallabh said, “My friends have been participating in Big Ticket for quite some time and would always encourage me to give it a try. One weekend when I was with them, I decided to purchase a ticket online on my own. Imagine my surprise when I received a call from the Big Ticket hosts, I even asked if they were joking with me. Winning on my very first try felt truly surreal. I feel extremely happy and blessed.”
He shared that he intends to use the money to support his daughters' higher studies in India.
Manoj Natarajan
Manoj Natrajan, a 53-year-old expatriate from Kerala, has been living and working in Dubai for the past 22 years. For the last three years, he has been purchasing Big Ticket entries every month together with a group of five friends.
Sharing his reaction to the win, Manoj said the news came as a complete surprise. “It was very unexpected, but I’m happy,” he said, describing the moment he learned about the prize.
Mohammed Sohel Firoz
Mohammed Sohel, a 38-year-old professional working in the fabric industry, has been living in Al Ain since 2009, while his family remains back home. He first heard about Big Ticket through his colleagues when he moved to the UAE and has been participating with them ever since.
Reflecting on his journey, Mohammed shared, “I first heard about Big Ticket from my colleagues when I moved to the UAE in 2009, and since then we’ve been purchasing tickets together every month. When I received the winning call, it was such a happy moment for all of us. After so many years of participating, our luck finally paid off.”
Speaking about the prize, Mohammed said the group plans to split the cash winnings among themselves and continue participating in future draws.
Mohammed Sahadul Karim
Mohammed Sahadul Karim, a 37-year-old Bangladeshi expat, has been living in Abu Dhabi for the past 18 years and works at a local bicycle shop. He has been participating in Big Ticket for the last 7 years, buying tickets every month, and this time he played along with 20 of his friends.
Sharing his reaction, Mohammed shared, “I am extremely happy! I’ve been trying for so long, and finally our luck has paid off.”
Mohammed also mentioned that he has been encouraging his friends in Qatar and Kuwait to join in.
More draws ahead
As March begins, Big Ticket has offered grand prize of Dh20 million, set to be awarded during the live draw on April 3.
In addition to the grand prize, five participants will each win a 200 gram, 24-karat gold bar as consolation prizes.
Big Ticket’s weekly e-draws will also continue, with four winners each receiving a 200-gram, 24-karat gold bar. The winners’ names will be announced on the Big Ticket website.
Customers who purchase two or more Big Ticket entries in a single transaction between March 1 and March 24 could be selected to attend the April 3 live draw and participate in The Big Win Contest. Four confirmed participants will compete for guaranteed cash prizes ranging from Dh50,000 to Dh150,000, with their names to be announced on the Big Ticket website on April 1.
Alongside the cash draws, the Dream Car Series continues, featuring a Maserati Grecale draw on April 3, followed by a Land Rover Defender draw scheduled for May 3.
