Abu Dhabi - Abu Dhabi's first private hospital dedicated to women has opened its doors, bridging an acute gap in healthcare services for women, as well as mother and child care.
The launch of Brightpoint Royal Women's Hospital, will be welcome news for expecting mothers living in the Capital, where a growing population is putting increased pressure on existing maternity facilities.
The hospital aims to bring women a facility which includes the process of labour, delivery, recovery and postpartum (LDRP) care.
Dr ChandrakumariRaghuram Shetty, Group Medical Director of NMC Healthcare, believes that the hospital will ease the delivery process for pregnant women in Abu Dhabi. "The exceptional services on offer at Brightpoint focus not only on producing healthy mothers and babies, but healthier generations of women and a healthier community as a whole."
The LDRP programme, which is soon to be introduced at Brightpoint, is suggested to improve a women's labour experience by ensuring mothers remain in their rooms throughout the whole birthing process.
The hospital will also include the latest 4D ultrasound technology, allowing extensive, ongoing assessment and evaluation of a baby's development. In addition, the hospital will soon be providing a whole spectrum of world-leading fertility treatment options to couples hoping to conceive.
"We are very happy to be easing the strain on women's health services in Abu Dhabi with a holistic approach, ensuring women feel cared for as individuals, that their time is valued and their wishes for both them and their family members are listened to," added Dr. Shetty.
