Watch: How firefighters from 4 emirates fought Umm Al Quwain factory blaze
Although the exact cause of the fire has not yet been determined, authorities confirmed that no injuries or fatalities were reported

A major fire that broke out at a factory in the Umm Al Thuoub Industrial Area in Umm Al Quwain on Friday evening was brought under control, thanks to the coordinated efforts of Civil Defence teams from various emirates across the UAE.
Thick, dark plumes of smoke were seen on Friday evening as the fire raged through the facility. Firefighters battled the intense blaze, using water hoses until after sunset. At least five fire trucks and two ambulances were seen at the site.

Authorities were seen inspecting the area to assess the extent of the damage to the building.

Civil Defence teams from Umm Al Quwain, Sharjah, Ajman, and Ras Al Khaimah worked together to contain the blaze.

Major General Dr Jassim Mohammed Al Marzouqi, Commander-in-Chief of Civil Defence, expressed his gratitude to all emergency departments involved, commending their dedication to protecting lives and property.
This incident follows several other fires reported last week. A fire broke out in a fruits and vegetables warehouse located in Sharjah’s industrial area 15 on April 13, but was brought under control.
However, on the same day, a separate and deadly blaze engulfed a residential tower in Sharjah, claiming the lives of five people. Many residents from the affected building have yet to return to their homes.
