Emirati paramedic helps woman deliver in ambulance

The family named the baby after the paramedic to express their appreciation of her efforts.

An Emirati paramedic managed to save a woman and her new born's life by conducting an emergency operation inside an ambulance.
Paramedic Alia Al Kaabi who was rushing the woman to the hospital as the latter was suffering from birth pangs realised that the woman had already started delivering the baby in the ambulance and assisted her in delivering the baby safely.

Al Kaabi at once cut the baby loose of the umblical cord that was entangled around its neck and abdomen, saving it from getting choked.
