UAE: Authorities control blaze after trees catch fire in Abu Dhabi

The incident took place in the Al Saad area in Al Ain during the evening

A fire that broke out among trees in Al Ain was brought under control by Abu Dhabi authorities during the evening hours of Monday, July 28.
The incident took place in the Al Saad area, according to the Abu Dhabi Police. The authority, along with the emirate's Civil Defence, tackled the blaze.
The fire did not result in any injuries, the police stated, while adding that cooling operations are currently underway.

The police urged residents to obtain information only from official sources.
Back in May, a fire broke out at a warehouse in Abu Dhabi's Mussaffah industrial area. Motorists were advised to avoid the area and use alternative routes as emergency operations continue.
Meanwhile in February, a fire broke out at a construction site on Yas Island. The incident occurred at the under construction extension area of Yas Waterworld.
In another incident, a blaze at a residential building in Al Shahamah was brought under control in February this year.
