Sharjah firefighters bring warehouse fire under control in around 20 minutes; no injuries

The Sharjah Media Office reported that Civil Defence teams, supported by units from Sharjah Police, successfully brought under control an accidental fire that broke out in a warehouse in the Sixth Industrial Area.

The office stated that no injuries were recorded due to the swift response and professional handling of the incident.

The Sharjah Police Operations Room received the report at 1.20pm on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, and the fire was fully contained by 1.44pm, taking just 20 minutes to control.

Specialised teams were immediately dispatched to the scene, and firefighting operations began following established procedures.

The media office stated that authorities have urged the public to rely solely on official sources for information and to avoid spreading unverified reports or rumours.
