Fire breaks out in Sharjah commercial centre; no injuries recorded

Sharjah Police and civil defence teams have handled a medium-scale accidental fire that broke out in a commercial centre in the emirate on Tuesday, March 17, 2026.

No injuries have been recorded among the workers or those present at the location — the Sixth Industrial Area.

Specialised teams were able to fully secure the site and prevent the fire from spreading to nearby areas. Cooling operations are currently underway.
