How to make the most of your Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Khaleej Times recommends...

Critical eye
Calling all amateur photography snobs and wannabe critics, head down to XPOSURE, the photo-festival taking place this weekend in Sharjah for a chance to be on the radio. The Pulse 95 Radio team will be looking for people to critique the work, live on-air from 4-5pm from the venue. it could be you.

Rapping presence
Hip-hop is the voice of new Asia and we've got the best example of the genre right here in Dubai on Friday. 'It's All About Rap' will see two of India's leading and award-winning rappers DIVINE and RAFTARR get together for an ultimate show at Za'abeel Hall 6, Dubai World Trade Centre from 9pm. Don't miss out! Check out Platinum List for tickets.
Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards
What a coup! The Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards will be taking place right here in the UAE this Friday night. The biggest, slimiest party of the year for kids in the region is on at ADNEC in the capital and will be hosted by musical superstar Jason Derulo, who will also perform, alongside co-host Haifa Beseisso - better known as popular YouTuber Fly With Haifa. Other performers on the night will include Britain's Connor Maynard, Canadian-Indian Nora Fetahi and Egypt's Mohammed Hamaki. Get ready for an evening of fantastic awards and fun. Tickets are still available at https://kca.nickelodeonarabia.com, so check it and see you there.
Rugby kick-off
Rugby's greatest show, the World Cup, will be beamed live from Japan across a host of venues in the UAE. We like the look of Jumeriah Beach Hotel's Dhow & Anchor for the opening game on Friday as the host of promotions including 'beat the boss' (if the manager backs the losing team, they buy a round) could find you the proud owner of a new free drink. Cheers to that.
Trendy takeout

Tonight the annual McDelivery celebration is taking place with a new twist: a new line of apparel and accessories to help maximize the night-in vibes. Order through McDelivery services between 7pm and 3am, and receive a special surprise such as an item from the limited edition pyjama line, a single park one day ticket to Dubai Parks & Resorts, or a free food voucher, while supplies last. Saty in and McChill? Sounds good.
Balqees in town

Start the countdown to mark the Saudi Arabia's National Day in stellar fashion as the UAE's most glamourous names in music, pop stars Shamma Hamdan and Balqees, are set to commemorate this year's celebrations. Balqees is on live at City Walk tonight at 9pm. She always gets the party started. We can't wait!
New brunch

From Friday BiCE Ristorante wants you to try a family friendly brunch. The afternoon will feature all the classics and house favourite dishes, such as the traditional burrata, panzanella, sumptuous slices of pizza and home-made, fresh, Italian breads from Dh250 at 12.30pm onwards.

Free yoga

Find your flow at The Outlet Village as Dubai's Tuscan-inspired shopping destination puts on free weekend yoga and Pilates sessions. Hosted by popular local yogis including Dina Cassir, the sessions are set to energise and rejuvenate from this Friday through to October.
