The Egyptian community in the UAE will be able to cast their votes in the presidential elections at the embassy in Abu Dhabi and the consulate in Dubai from Friday for three days.

"Whoever wishes to cast their vote has to prove their identity either with a valid or even expired national ID card or a machine-read passport."
Tablets and electronic ID card readers are available at the polling stations for registration and voting, he stated. "Well-trained diplomatic and administrative cadres from the ministry of foreign affairs in Egypt will be available for help during the elections."
