Sharjah Ruler approves 4,434 scholarships for Emirati students across 8 universities
The scholarships cover students pursuing bachelor’s, master’s and PhD programmes, with the largest share allocated to undergraduate studies

Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, has approved 4,434 scholarships for Emirati students and the sons and daughters of Emirati women from the emirate of Sharjah who have been accepted into eight higher education institutions.
The scholarships cover students pursuing bachelor’s, master’s and PhD programmes, with the largest share allocated to undergraduate studies.

A total of 3,463 scholarships have been approved for bachelor’s degree students, while 722 scholarships will go to master’s students and 249 to those pursuing doctoral degrees.
The scholarships will be distributed across eight higher education institutions in Sharjah: the University of Sharjah, American University of Sharjah, Khorfakkan University, Kalba University, Al Dhaid University, University of the Arts, Sharjah Police Sciences Academy and Sharjah Maritime Academy.
The initiative provides financial support for eligible students across a range of academic disciplines and levels, supporting access to higher education institutions across the emirate.
