RAK extends distance learning for 2 weeks across schools, higher education institutions

Ras Al Khaimah has announced the continuation of distance learning across schools and higher education institutions for the first two weeks of the upcoming academic term, the emirate's government media office announced.
Distance learning will continue for two weeks at the start of the third academic term for students, as well as teaching and administrative staff, across all nurseries, kindergartens and private schools in Ras Al Khaimah. Authorities said the situation will be reviewed on a weekly basis in coordination with the Ras Al Khaimah Department of Knowledge.
University students will also continue with remote learning for two weeks following the spring break. Higher education institutions have been given the flexibility to decide suitable working arrangements for their staff, while maintaining academic standards. The situation will be reviewed weekly in coordination with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

Flexible remote work options will be available for government employees who are caregivers of young children, particularly those in nurseries up to Grade 5. This aims to help families better manage home learning during the period.
