Delighting thousands of visitors at Dubai Festival City Mall, the Dubai Police band played the Indian national anthem for the Diwali celebrations titled 'Make your Diwali Brighter than Ever'.
The officers also sang the UAE's Ishy Bilady - Long Live My Country - at the Diwali event on Thursday, October 24, where the five-day long celebrations began.
Tens of thousands of festival revellers attended the cultural show and parade at the opening ceremony, organised under the patronage of Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), an agency of Dubai Tourism, and the Indian Consulate in Dubai.

The performance delighted visitors of the celebrations, as many took to social media to post their appreciation for the UAE government. Geetika Swami, a resident said, "Dubai Police band plays India's national anthem during the mega Diwali celebrations. It is wonderful to see how Indian culture is celebrated around the world."
