The Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Minister of Finance, Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum received a rousing welcome on Thursday from his close family members on his safe return to Dubai after a successful surgery abroad.
A number of Sheikhs including Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai Crown Prince and Chairman of the Executive Council, along with his brother Sheikh Ahmed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum were among those who received their uncle, Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid, at the airport.
Looking happy and healthy, Sheikh Hamdan waved and thanked his loved ones who had gathered at the airport to receive him. Keeping in mind Covid-19 related safety measures, he was seen sporting a mask and maintaining a safe distance from all the royals, who were also wearing masks and waved at the minister from a distance.

Taking to social media to express his happiness on the safe return of his brother, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, tweeted: My brother and aide Hamdan bin Rashid ... you are welcome in your home and among your loved ones ... and we thank God for your safety ... and we pray for your continued health and long life with the love of your family, the people of the Emirates ..."
