Abdullah bin Zayed Al Falasi, Director General of the Human Resources Department in Dubai, on Monday confirmed the salary amendments for Dubai government workers. As many as 47,000 Dubai government employees will benefit from these amendments.

The amendments are as per the new financial allocations scheme for Dubai government workers. "It includes all the employees of government departments subject to the Dubai Human Resources Management Law No. (8) of 2018," he said.

"However, the employees appointed on temporary or special contracts or part-time, and the employees whose salaries exceed the maximum limit set for their grades, are excluded."

The salary amendments vary from Dh150 to maximum Dh3,000, he disclosed.

"The salary amendments are to take effect as of March's salary, and retrospectively since the beginning of this year."
