Dubai International Airport's Terminal 3 experienced a 30-minute power disruption on Monday but there was no significant impact on airport operation
The incident happened at 11:04am. A Dubai Airports (DXB) spokesperson told Khaleej Times that it was caused by a technical issue.
"Dubai Airports can confirm that there was a power outage at Dubai International's Terminal 3 at 11:04am due to a technical issue. Power was restored within 30 minutes of the outage with minimal impact on operations," said the DXB spokesperson.
Some passengers, however, were left sweating out after some air conditioning units shutdown, a Filipino staff at Terminal 3 told Khaleej Times.
DXB opened in 1960 and is now serving more than 88.2 million customers annually, connecting to more than 240 destinations across six continents via 100 airlines.
