Ivanka Trump, senior adviser to and daughter of US President Donald Trump, has arrived in Dubai.
She was welcomed by Mona Al Marri, Chairperson of the Dubai Women Establishment Board of Directors, and is set to deliver a keynote address at the official opening of the Global Women's Forum Dubai (GWFD) , which will be held on February 16 and 17 2020.

Al Marri had earlier described Trump as a "champion of female entrepreneurship" who can inspire women in the region.
"She will bring valuable insights into boosting support to women-owned enterprises and propelling female entrepreneurs across the region," Al Marri said.
Ivanka Trump, for her part, has said that she looks forward to continuing to spearhead life-impacting programmes that impact and advance women's economic empowerment, and was also looking forward to this event
Trump will join other high-profile international speakers, including David Malpass, president of the World Bank Group, and Kristalina Georgieva, managing director of the IMF, in this year's Global Women's Forum.
Organised by the DWE, GWFD 2020 is a leading global platform that actively engages leaders and experts from around the world in constructive dialogue to discuss policies, foster goal-driven partnerships, and shape sustainable communities.
