Visiting The Dubai Mall will get easier with the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) opening new bridges on October 29.
The extensions will lead to the entry and exit points of The Dubai Mall Zabeel multi-level parking building. One of the bridges will link The Dubai Mall Zabeel parking building with the upper level of the Financial Centre Street, while the other bridge will link it to the Sheikh Zayed Road and Jumeirah. A footbridge linking the parking with Dubai Mall will also be opened.

Connecting Cinema parking

Bridges linking the upper level of the Financial Centre Street and The Dubai Mall's cinema parking are currently in the final stages of construction and will be open soon.
"The project was undertaken by the RTA in collaboration with Emaar Properties covers the construction of bridges extending 1,860 metres with width varying between 4.5 and 10 metres. Bridges connect entry and exit points of the Financial Centre Street with the cinema parking at The Dubai Mall and the new Zabeel parking building. Works also included a footbridge measuring 210x17 metre and a vehicle bridge measuring 360x9 metre linking Zabeel parking building with The Dubai Mall in addition to lighting and utility works," said Mattar Al Tayer, director-general and chairman of the board of executive directors of the RTA.
This project complements the bridge linking Al Khail Road and the Financial Centre Street, extending from the interchange of Ras Al Khor and Al Khail roads to the Financial Centre Street.
