The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) on Thursday announced that Dubai's combined public transport served 2,853,710 passengers during the Eid Al Adha holidays between July 30 and August 2.

The Dubai Metro's Red and Green lines headed the list with 909,106 passengers, followed by the Dubai Tram's total of 42,608.
Meanwhile, public buses served 715,802 commuters, while marine transport ferried 97,131 passengers, taxis lifted 972,868 passengers and shared mobility vehicles served 116,195 people.
The RTA says it made every effort to ensure compliance with health and preventive measures in all public transport modes for the safety of both riders and staff.
